LIPOSOMAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR SILYBIN DELIVERY TO THE LIVER IN PATIENTS WITH NON-ALCOHOLIC FATTY LIVER DISEASE

The aim of the study is to evaluate effectiveness and safety liposomal technologies in treatment non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) using Silybin (Lipoliv) as an example.
 Materials Methods. authors conducted a randomized placebo-controlled approved by ethics committee. included 111 subjects with NAFLD, aged 18–65. Lipoliv therapy (experimental group) or placebo (control lasted for 12 weeks, trial received 1 capsule per day. evaluated success rates, such steatohepatitis activity (AST, ALT), severity steatosis (transient elastography controlled attenuation parameter), quality life(SF-36 questionnaire); profile: adverse events. Statistical analysis was carried out StatTech v. 1.2.0.
 Results. experimental group demonstrated significant decrease ALT (p<0.001) AST levels well after treatment. There improvement parameters physical mental well-being both groups (p<0.001). No reactions interruption were noted.
 Conclusion. When treating patients Silybin, synthesized (Lipoliv), confirmed activity, improved life, severity. drug high profile.
